About ChiSocNet

The Chilean Society of Social Network Science (CHISOCNET) aims to develop Social Network Science in Chile to become, in the next decade, a group of references from Latin America and the International Community. To achieve this objective, CHISOCNET will congregate, broadcast, and support the researchers actively working in Social Network Science within Chile, Latin America and internationally.

Social Network Science in Chile presumably was developed in the early ‘90 and has grown in the last decades in more than 17 universities from around the country. Currently, there is no formal Community of Social Network Science in Chile or a postgraduate program with an emphasis exclusively on these topics. CHISOCNET aims to fill the gap and create a society during the decade of 2020-2030.
